Consulting
for Non-Profit OrganizationsSan Francisco Treasure Hunts offers low-cost consulting to assist non-profit organizations (especially those outside San Francisco) to create Treasure Hunts for fund-raising, team-building and for gaining community exposure.
SF Treasure Hunts founder Jayson Wechter has worked with arts, social service and community organizations to create successful hunts since 1988. Through close consultation with an organization's staff, he provides the tools for an agency or organization to create a treasure hunt. This can include in-person or telephone consultations, an on-site visit to create a hunt in your home city and / or train your staff to create a successful treasure hunt.
Wechter’s Chinese New Year’s Treasure Hunt is the largest benefit treasure hunt in the United States, regularly drawing over sixteen-hundred participants. In addition to raising money from a previously untapped fundraising base, these treasure hunts boost the public visibility of the agencies they benefit, and raise awareness of a community’s historical and cultural heritage and landmarks. They are an excellent educational tool for teaching young and old alike about the hidden treasures of our communities.
